other organizations also were present: Dr. Louis How, County Health Officer and Dr. Richard Schaphorst, president of the County Board of Health; Dr. Wallace Buchanan, President of the Healthwin Hospital Board of Managers; and Dr. Jacob Rosenwasser, President of the St. Joseph County Medical Society. Each organization is to name two representatives to the study committee, which will then choose its chairman. Consultants to the committee will be: Dr. Edward W. Custer, Medical Director and Superintendent of Hcalthwin Hospital and Director of the County Board of Health Chest Clinic; Dr. Louis How, County Health Officer; John Kagel of the Chamber of Commerce; and Mrs. Nina Swem. Executive Director of the TB League. First meeting of the committee is scheduled for Friday, August 9th. Also present at last week’s meeting of the League Board were three representatives of the Indiana State Board of Health: Dr. R. S. Henry of the Tuberculosis Division, and Messrs Malcolm Mason and Roger McClain. Representing the U.C. Public Health Service was Mr. Carl Sheffelbein.
