Bush — Gilmer Miss Carol Jean Bush, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bush. 63328 Mulberry Road, South Bend became the bride of Mr. Roy Richard Gilmer, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy R. Gilmer, Sr., 20362 Johnson Road, South Bend during a 2:30 p.m. double ring ceremony in the Maple Grove United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 1. Baskets of white gladioli and blue carnations flanked the altars and white bows marked the pews. Rev. Gene Flickinger performed the ceremony. Music was played by Mrs. Grant Reddle and Mrs. David Donathen was the soloist. The bride was given in mar-

A full back of unpressed pleats that sortly flowed into a court train. The bride wore a French illusion veil with a crown of pearls and crystals. She carried a nosegay of white sweetheart roses and ivy. Miss Cynthia Bush, sister of the bride, was the Maid of Honor and Mrs. Joan Wall, also sister of the bride of Erlanger, Kentucky, and Mrs. Albertha Birk of Wakarusa were the brides-
maids. The floor length gowns of blue chiffon over matching taffeta, styled with empire bodices modified scoop necklines and A line skirts were with centered back fullness and pouffed sleeves of firmly pleated chiffon and tailored cuffs. Dainty matching chiffon held plateau bouffant veils worn by the girls. Each carried nosegays of blue and white miniature carnations with ivy. David Dunning was best man and Joseph Wall and Ronald Schafer were ushers. A reception was neld immediately following the service in the church social room with apprximately 300 guests. The newlyweds are enjoying a honeymoon in Northern Michigan. The bride is a graduate of North Liberty High School and is presently employed at Robertson’s Department Store in South Bend. The gioom is a graduate of Riley High School and is attending the Indiana University Extension in South Bend. He is also employed at Western Electric Company. Larry Setnor, son of Mr. and Mrs' Wesley Setnor, North Liberty were married at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 1, in the United Methodist Church, Walkerton. Rev. Harold Williams, pastor of the church performed the double ring ceremony in the prescence of the immediate families. The bride given in marriage by her father, wore a light blue lace street length dress. She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses and carnations. Miss Leslie Jean Rhodes of Walkerton, was matron of honor. She wore a light pink street length dress and carried a bouquet of white roses and carnations. The best man was Phillip Patrick. A reception for 100 guests was held at the American Legion Hall in Walkerton at 7 p.m. After a wedding trip to Mammoth Cave, Kentucky the couple will be at home at 600 Roosevelt Rd. Walkerton. The bride Is a 1967 graduate of John Glenn High School and the Vogue Beauty College, South Bend. Mr. Setnor is a graduate of North Liberty High School and attended Acme Tool and Dye Designing School tn South Bend. He Is employed at the Independent News Co., Walkerton.
