Miss Kranitz is a graduate of North Liberty High School and attended Manchester College, North Manchester. Her fiance was graduated from New Carlisle High Schixil and is presently stationed at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. □ □ MARRIAGES □ □ Miko — Davis Nupital vows were exchanged Saturday by Miss Mary Joan Miko and Ronald Keith Davis in Memorial Presbyterian Church with Rev. Stephen Kalabany performing the 2:30 p.m. ceremony. The bride, the former Miss Mary Joan Miko, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Miko, 59180 Magnolia Rd. She was graduated from North Liberty High School and is attending Ball State University, Muncie. Mr. and Mrs. Keith F. Davis, 409 S. Main St., North Liberty, are the parents of the bridegroom. He is also a graduate of North Liberty High School and a student at Ball State. He is affiliated with Sigma Phi Epsilon, national social fraternity. The bride wore a gown of peau de sole featuring an Empire bolide apphqued with Chantilly lace and seed pearls. The gown was styled with a modified scoop neckline, short sleeves and a chapel train. Miss Judith Fields, North Liberty, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaid was Miss Linda Davis, North Liberty, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Lisa Modesto, New York City, niece of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid. Attending as flower girls were Miss Karla Wiseman, Mishawaka, and Miss Lori Miko, South Bend, nieces of the bride. The attendants wore peau de crystal gowns of pale yellow featuring Empire bodices and Aline skirts. The bodices and sleeves were covered with lace. Back interest was added with floor length back panels. Headpieces of daisies and tulle circles completed the ensembles. Craig Nelson, Fort Wayne, was the best man and ushers included John Miko and Frank Miko, brothers of the bride, Ted Davis, Fort Wayne, and Douglas Davis, Wakarusa, cousins of the bridegroom. A wedding dinner was served at 5:30 p.m. in the Centre Twp. Women's Club, followed by a reception at 7 in the same place. The newlyweds will be at home after June 15 in Shipshewana, Ind. Lehiy — McCammon Frances R. Lehiy and Robert N. McCammon were united in Holy Matrimony Saturday, June Ist, 1968. The ceremony took place in The Full Gospel Tabernacle, Koontz Lake. Miss Frances R. Lehiy of Rt. 3 Walkerton, and her husband will reside in LaPorte. Lois and Gene Miller of Walkerton stood as witnesses. Rev. Ralph Walker officiated. Lincoln Township Homemakers Meet Twenty - seven members and two guests, Mrs. Fayette Dunn and Mrs. Milmer were present for the June meeting Tuesday of the Lincoln Township Homemakers Extension club held at the Community Building. A tribute to the flag was given by Mrs. Albert Schultz. Mrs. Ruth Clark, the health and safety chr. gave information on can- <• r control. Literature and cards were passed out to all members. She also presented the lesson on "Personal Safety". Our annual picnic to be held in August will feature a "Made" sale. Members are asked to bring articles that they have made. The luncheon ables Were decorated with larger bouquets of .summer flowers. Mrs. Gus Schultz, Mrs. William Dutcher, Mrs. Lucy Ullery and Mrs. Orville Klinedinst were hostesses. We will sew cancer bandages next Tuesday. Mrs. Mayotte Arseneau., chairman announced they were in need of white material. If anyone has any old sheets or pillow cases they want to get rid of bring them Tuesday.
