It has been asked that all reservations be in by June 3. so time is limited to get these in the mail or drop them off in person. Once again this year, all seniors of John Glenn High School an invited to attend the Banquet. They are asked to make reservations in advance the same as everyone else, and. to avoid the paying for dinners that haven't been eaten due to senior members not showing up. when they register the night of the banquet, at 1 ist part of their dinner money will be refunded. They will be presented, interviewed briefly and the selection made at this time. Dancing will conclude the evening with a fine dance band playing for this event. Festival Horse Show Receives Good Support Sponsors for the Walkerton Festival Horse Show Sunday, June 9 have been really generous for the Lincoln Twp. 4-H club wh > are staging the show at the W.dkntua aiK beginning at 9 a. m. Two large mgn point trophies will be awarded. High Point Trophy for Adults will be presented by the Countryman’s Press while the High Point Trophy for Youth will be given by Lee's Jowell y at Walkerton. Tiie North Liberty 4-H Horse and Pony Club will not only be present to participate in all the classes but have pledged to sponr a class. To sponsor a class, any individual, merchant or combination of group or club may sponsor one of the class competitions at SIO.OO which will furnish trophies and ribbons for that class. Classes beginning at 9 a. m. thr< ughout the entire day are as follows: 1. Pony Halter 48” and under. 2. Pony Halter 48” to 56”, 3. Quarter Horse Mares all ages, papers in hand, 4. Guy Roger, Knox, Kids Korrell, Lakeville, Towm and Country Store, Walkerton, besides the North Liberty 4-H Horse and Pony Club. Nine more are needed to underwrite the expenses of this project and would be most appreciated. Judge for the show is Joyce Combs and ring master is Jim Boomhower. 7 tvo Boys Win Ribbons In SB Track Meet In the Championship meet of the Elementary Track Meet for the schools in the South Bernd Community School Corporation, two North Liberty boys won ribbons. Eddie Hanson, a fifth grader, won the Ist place in the Junior Division of the shot put.

Festival Plans To Be Aired Friday On WCTA Radio It has just beer, announced that Friday morning, May 31, all the committee heads and chairmen of the various phases of the coming Walkerton Summer Festival, will be on radio for the purpose ot explaining to the public just what will be happening at the gal Festival next week. At 9:30 a.m., on station WCTA in Plymouth, Erv Stuntz and hivarious chairmen will be interviewed on an hour program. This will be an opportunity to hear “Walkerton” on the air and find out just about everything this hard working group has done in planning the big Summer Festival. Be sure to tune in at 9:30,
