Also, $45 00 was donated to the Burn Ward of Riley Hospital, Indianup li This is the only such ward in the state, and a special project of the state Tri Kappa’s. A $5 00 Tuburculosis Christian Seal B- nd was purc haaed. Mrs. Bryce Rohrer, president, reported on the Province Work Shop held October 31st at Valporaiso. Those attending from Epsilon Chi Chapter were Mrs. Rohrer, Mrs David Mellin Mrs. Richard Masterman and Mrs.

PIJ I*TA To Book Fair The Polk-Lincoln-John.son PTA will sponsor Book Fairs at John Glenn High School and Walkerton Elementary School this month. This hign-who >1 book fair will be held during school hours Thursday and Fri inv and during open house Thursday evening. Books will be sold at the grade school during school hours Nov. 15, 16 and 17 and at the ITA meeting Nov. 16. Book shops wil be set up in both schools so that students may browse through and purchase the books of th'ir choice. M re than 1,000 paperback books will be available, with most volumes costing 50 cents or less. Designed to expose students to a wide selection of reading materal, the book fairs will offer a variety of b'>oks.
