He is a graduate of Grovertown High Schoo! and attended Purdue University, Lafayette, where he was affiliated with Kappa Delta Rho, national social fraternity. A floor length coat and dress ensemble of silk organza over
taffeta was worn by the bride, who was given away by her goJfather, Raymond McCarty of Grovertown. The dress was fashioned with an Empire silhouette with a scoop neckline, elbow length sleeves, high rise waistline and A-line skirt. The sb-evc - less coat which formed a chapel length train was highlighted with a band of Alencon lace. She wore a ballerina length veil of tulle and carried a cascade of white glamcllias, sweetheart roses and ivy. Miss Marilyn Roysdon of Muncie, was the maid of honor. The matron of honor was Mrs. Thomas Hayes, Hamlet. Gowns of moss green crepe fashioned with Empire bodices with detachable panel trains were worn by the attendants. Floral plateaus with matching veils formed their headpieces. Thomas Hayes of Hamlet served as the best man. The ushers were John Burris of Walkerton and Edward Shed of Noblesville, Ind., brother-in-law of the bride. Robert Wieczork, Muncie, was the groomsman. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church social rooms. The newlyweds will be at home in the South Bend area after Oct. 15. They aie honeymooning in Canada. College And Career Night At John Glenn School The 1967 College and Career Night will be held on Tues lav evening. October 10. at 730 at John Glenn High School. Representatives from Colleges and Trade Schools will be present to discuss their schools with interested Juniors and Seniors and their parents. The followinlg Institutions of higher learning have indicated that they will be present.
