In previous yeats, th- boundaries of the wards w< re -in h that only three wards existed and consequently, a thi-e m n board has serv-d North Liberty in the past years. This year there are five war is and starting with January 1 196 s. a five man board will rule Noith Liberty. Walkerton has had the five man board for many years and it will remain the same. Both towns have slates of the two maj< r parties, with the exception of wards 1 and 2 in North Liberty. They also only have one candidate f. r the office of clerk-treasurer, which will appear at the bottom of the ballot not under either party heading. Other than this, full races are held. This gives thi net d< d competition in an election for

1962 Registration l or Ehttion To Be Held In Walkerton. A voters registration substation will be open in Walkerton for voters to register or transfer on the following dates: October 3, October 4 and Monday. October 8, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p in. The final date for registration is Monday for the fall election. The sub-station will be held in the Walkerton Police Station and every eligible voter can register at this time and place. Story Hour. The Walkerton Merchants defeated the Jlyniouth Moose Sunday afternoon at Centennial Park, Plymouth, by a score of 5 to 4 and thus became the new champions in Northern Indiana's Baseball League. An estimated crowd of 2.000 fans witnessel the final and decisive game of a three game series playoff between the two teams. Plymouth being the winner of the American division and Walkerton the National. According to reports it was the largest crowd to witness a ball game in Plymouth since the early twenties.
