This capped a long drive and tied the sec re. making it again anvone's ballgame as Fearnow also booted the extra point through the uprights to make it 7-7. He again added the point and boosted the bad *o 14-7. The ti ’e of the game changed rapidly in this final quarter as the Jimmies broke through to block a quick ki« k try by the Shamrocks and took possession in great field position. From here. Fearnow capped the short drive with a touchdown scamper of 13 cards and once again kicked the extra point for a safe 21- 7 had at this point. Only 7hi remained to play at this time. Fearnow then really put the icing on the cake as he grabbid n Shamrock punt < n his < wn 25 yard line, tucked th.- ball in an • streaked down the sideline all the wav for a 75 yard punt return touchdown. This came with 545 left and finally, he missed an extra point and the lead read 27-7.
