Terre Haute, and was graduted from Indiana State Barbers ’ollege, Indianapolis. He is employed by the Dunlap Barber Shop. A floor length gown of silk peau was worn by the bride. It was fashioned with a fitted waistline, scoop neckline, and long sleeves tapering at the wrists. The draped skirt formed a basque back centered with roses and ended in a chapel b ngth train. Lace appliques highlighted the bodice and skirt. She carried a cascade of white mums. Miss Brenda Rehmel, the maid of honor, wore a cotillion pink gown of chiffon over taffeta. The lace bodice had a scoop neckline and ruffled Kabuki sleeves. A Watteau panel accented the sheath skirt. Miss Rhoda Carr was the flower girl. Jack Tiede of Walkerton, brothers in-law of the bridegroom, served as the best man, Ronald Williams, also of Walkerton, and Charles Smith, North Manchester, ushered. ROCK-BOTTOM | a MATES D. Johnson in a double ring ceremony at 2 30 p.m. Saturday in the Walkerton Presbyterian church performed by Rev. David Owen. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Jennie Gillette of Tyler St., Walkerton and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Johnson. R.R. 3. Walkerton. Their only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hayes. Following a short wedding trip through the Southern States they are now a home at Koontz Lake. A retired < irpcnter, he was born Jan 11. 18X3 in Grovertown and was a lifetime resident of the area. He was married April 1, 1907 at Grovertown to Glenna Sult, who survives. He was a member of the Walkerton Masonic Lodge, a past president of the Koontz Lake Association and a member of the Koontz Lake United Missionary church. Also surviving, are one daughter. Mrs. Deloris Cumming, Sister Lake. Mich.; and ■ one brother, Harry Wyland, I Fort Wayne. Services were conducted at 2 I p.m., Friday in the Nusbaum I Funeral Home, Walkerton, with I Rev. Richard Mattison, pastor of I the Koontz Lake United | Missionary church, officiating. | Burial was at Grovertown ceme- I tery. Mrs. John Borlik Mrs. Tillie C Borlik. 69. of 59816 Crumstown Hwy., North Liberty, die 1 at 9:20 am. Thurs. in Memorial Hospital after a one-week illness. She was born Sept. 16. 1897, in Chicago. She was married on April 17. 1928. in Chicago to John Borlik. who survives. Also surviving are a son. John Paul of South Bend; three daughters. Mrs. Lor.tta Woltnian and Miss Alice Borlik. both of North Liberty, and Mrs. Marceline Koprzynski of South Bend; five grandchildren; a brother, Peter Wegner, of Chica*go; and a sister, Mrs. Martha Gosczynski, of North Liberty. Services were at 10 am. Monday in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Terre Coupe, Rev. Thomas Depa, pastor, officating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cometary. Robert E. Finkle Robert E Finkle, 66, of 2924 South Keystone Ave., Indianapolis died Saturday in St. Francis hospital, Indianapolis. He was owner of the Finkle Variety Store at 2299 East Troy Ave. Mr. Finkle w*as born in Cincinnati, Ohio and had been an Indianapolis resident 28 years. He married Margaret Bandendistel, Fbruary 14. 1944. He served as an Air Force Sergeant during the Korean War. He was a buyer for the plumbing and heating department of Sears Roebuck and Company for 17 years, before establishing his own store which he had operated the last 11 years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Margaret (Bandendistel) Finkle, two sisters, Mrs. Martin Wiehe and Mrs. Margaret Williamson, one brother, John Finkle, all of Cincinnati. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Walkerton, with Rev. Father Anthony Letko officiating. Burial was In Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Helen HuffMetter Mrs. Helen Huffstetter. 63. 203 Michigan Street. Walkerton, died at 4:00 a.m Wednesday at the E Street Division hospital, LaPorte.
