Mr. and Mrs. David Mellin, Torn. Larry, Bobbie and Susan spent from Sunday to Wednesday of last week at the Wisconsin Dells. Studio Dress Shops Clearance Sale is now in progress. Mrs. Robert Lidy and daughter. Cathy had as their house guests the past week end. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Erps and three children of Camanche. lowa. Mr. and Mrs. George Lanphere. R. R. 3, Walkerton entertained Sunday friends. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Drake, Lake Forest, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Metz, South Bend; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lawler. Chicago; and Mr. and Mrs. J. Emmett Miller. Michigan City. The couples have been friends for many years having all resided in South Bend at the same time some years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kormelink and Jeff, Karen and Gregory are moving from Salt Lake City, Utah to Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Kormelink received his Master's Degree from the University of Utah in June. He wall be teaching in a college at Bay City. Little Greg Kormelink has recovered from the severe burns he received in March. The children are guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johnson, while their parents settle in Bay City. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johnson had their children and grandchildren as guests for a turkey dinner on Sunday. This wgs the first time they have all been together for two years. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kormelink anl children of Salt Lake City, Utah; MY. and Mrs. Jerry Johnson and family of Jimtown, John an 4 Wally Johnson and also Donna I^b pfenstein who is staying with the Johnson's while her parents are on vacation.

Mrs. Bertha Urbin on Sunday attended the Metzger reunion at the home of Dr. and Mrs. John Guttman and family in Wakarusa. Jackie, Karen, Karol, Janet and Kathy Kost, daughters of Jack Kost, of Plainfield, Indiana are visiting their grandmother, Mrs. Thelma Kost this week. Beat the Heat! Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hunt entertained w’ith a family gathering in their home Sunday to celebrate the 80th birthday of Fred Bellinger and the 85th birthday of Mr. Bellinger’s sister, Mrs. Leora Goit. record. DIXIE WALKER’S SQUARE DANCE (’LI B The Dixie Walker's Square Danced Saturday, July 29th in the Elementary Gym. Guests were from the Swing* ing Squares, South Bend, Twill-A-W’ays, South Bend, and Warsaw Squares. Warsaw. Chick Hani, Warsaw and Bud Welsh, Crawfordsville were guest callers. Refreshments were served by Mr. and Mrs. Art Harrington, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Downey, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Flaugher, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Dailey, and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Claudy. Two Dixie Walker Squares went to the Starke County Pair at Hamlet to do a demonstration at the fair that evening. This Saturday we are going to the Star B's at Carpenter Hall in South Bend. Our next home dance will be August 12th at the Elementary Gym.
