Floyd Little and Mel Farr pacing a e< ntin ent of flashy backs, this is again true. THIS YEARS ALL - STAR team is loaded with great pas catchers as is usual!v the case. They have the biggest line ever assembled by the staf teams to battle the pros. They also have top boys at every spot in th* i' defensive line-up, but still the one aspect of the game is different, these hoys are just put together on a practice field for three weeks to ge’ readv forth" pros who basically have be-m pliving together for several seasons. THE BACKERS WILL HAVE a slightly different look than has been the case in their re ent years of mom 1< py in th" NFL and will us" this game as w< 11 to do a little expormentin . Their f. rmor great fullback, .Rm Tayl r is g. m and this will put a little extra burd< n on prbablv Jim Grabowski. th< highly touted rookie of 1 t \e । from Illinois. Also missing i-

However, last year Elijah Pitts did most of the work from Hornung's halfback spot and a regular for the best part of the season. They still have a great one waiting around in Donny Anderson waiting to get his chance to play regular. UP FRONT GREEN BAY IS beginning to show their age. Fii^zv Thurston and Jerry Kramer are two of the finest intensive guards that ever played pro ball, but both are getting up in years. Forest Greeg and Bob Skoronski aren’t far behind. However, when the famed Packer Sweep, is a real thing of beauty and a play that can still be depended upon to get some yardage. The Packrs aren t a fancy team, but under the direct: n of Vince Ixmibardi are a hard-nosed, rough and tough io.vm.hi team that believes in execution of the play and rockhard fundamentals rather than razzle dazzle and all the fancy stuff. This has paid off in win after win over the years and should continue that way this year. THE ALL-STAR GAME IS alwa-s a thrilling thing to watch unfold. However, in past years it hasn't taken much time for the experience and savvy of the pros to turn the game into a rather 1< psided affair. Even when this has happened, the pros often try to ease off, but it doesn't always look that way. They are so used to playing the game to the fullest, that playing an” other way isn't natural and isn't done. WIN. LOSE. OR DRAW, A fine game and crowd will again move into Soldiers Field for the annual spectacle and many fans will be watching on the TV tube at home. The game, started, by
