Mr. and Mrs. John Beron and family were Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Freisner at Osceola. Mrs. Pauline Morris visited Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Beiry and Tommie in St. Joe, Indiana, last week. A daughter born to Mr. and Mrs. Larry Joe Clark, July 25th, 6 lbs. 10 oz., Mishawaka. Mr. Clark is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Clark, North Liberty. Mrs. Clark is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Wilkinson of Douglas Road, Souh Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rudynski were honored Sunday evening with a surprise ^nrty for their 25th wedding anniversary given by their children. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Frazier of South Bend, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith and family of Elkhart. The Steele reunion was held Sunday at Stuntz Pine Forrest. Nancy Price spent Tuesday and Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Loy Shoemaker. Mrs. Grover Harbaugh had as her guest last Friday, Mrs. J. R. Krivanek, Zephyr Hills, Fla., and Dr. Joe Krivanek. of Chicago. The Misses Linda, Bonnie and Pamela Cooper have spent a few days visiting in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Uthe of Oak Forest, 111. Mr. and Mrs. John DeLaCroix, of Frankfort. Indiana, were Saturday afternoon callers of Mr. and Mrs. John Harbaugh and family. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sims. Mrs. Sheila Thomas and children and Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Renz were week end guests of Mrs. Mary Armstrong and Sharon in Lafayette. Mi-, and Mrs. Charles R. Cooper and daughter Pamela were in Davenport, lowa for a week end visiting relatives there. Pamela continued there for a longer stay. Guests in the Charles R. Cooper home the past week end were Mrs. Arthur Uthe and sons Warren and Carl of Oak Forest. 111. They were on their way to Winchester. Tenn. Roy Cooper accompanied them for a week where they visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Stephens, they also visited Roy’s sister Laura who is staying with the Stephens for a year. SPLASH PARTY FOR N. L. GIRLS’ 4-H Thirty-seven members of the North Liberty Girls’ 4-H club had a splash party and picnic last Wednesday at Indiana Lake, in Michigan. They were guests of Connie and Patsy Harbaugh at the cottage of Mr. and Mrs. John Harbaugh. competition Saturday in the German Shephard Specialty Class at the International Dog Show. The dog was fourth out of 100 entries for confirmation. The event was held at the International Ampli - Theatre in Chicago.
