They arc Marianne Kcrsh, In year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs Richard Kcrsh and John Cowger Jr.. If year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cowger Sr., all of Walkerton. I Im I * । ** a I '- Marianne is in her fifth year of 4-H this year and has won six twp. champions, Craft I, Knitting I. Foods I. II and Clothing I. 11. She has a total of nine project years in 4-H. including Junior Leader. Last year she participated in the 4-H dress review and County Demonstration. John Cowger Jr. just moved to Walkerton last fall but had six years of 4-H at Kouts High School and two projects this year at Walkerton. He has a total of 23 project years. Better Homes Club To Tour South Bend Locations Plans have been completed by the Better Homs Extension Club to make a tour of South Bend on June 29. Trip reservation are due to Mrs. Harry Malstaff immediately. i The group must be at WSBTTV at 9:30 for a tour there and ready for Good Will Industries at 11 a.m. A tour of South Bend Tribune at 1 p.m. followed by the South Bend Museum and the City Park to see the home of the first white homemaker- to have a home in South B-nd. The group will not be able to be a participation audience of the Homemakers time, but will see it on the monitors in the studio. A special date was set as the first open date, Juh 20. Those wishing to go on that date also please let Mrs. Malstaff know. Don't make the mistake of being afraid you'll make one.
To Attend 4-H (amp At Quibache Mark Malstaff has been silerted by Lincoln Twp. 4-H Advis r> Board to represent his community and St. Joseph County at Quibache. This is a Junior- Leader 1 Camp for outstanding 4-H mem- j bers and is a most stimulating and exciting experience for anyone attending. It is located at j the Hoosier 4-H Leader-ship Center west of Lafayette. Mark will arrive Sunday, July 23 and dismisses Thursday, July 27. just in time for the St. Joseph County Fair August 1 to 5. jfll M. * iWh. I | This is his fifth year in 4-H with forty project years.
