Twenty members of the Friendship Class of the Methodist Church went to Michigan City, Monday to help Rev. Patterson celebrate his .birthday. Rev. Patterson is the former pastor. Hostesses for the occasion were Mrs. Fred Cullar, Mrs. Warren Houser and Mrs. Adolf Grof. Mr. and Mrs. John Harbaugh have returned to their homo after a two weeks visit to the British Isles. They visited Mi. and Mrs. James Steeth in Scotland for one week. The Harbaughs traveled by plane and car and toured through Ireland. Scotland and England. (FHTNC) April 26 — Marine Lance Corporal Jackson L. Watkins son of Mr. and Mrs - . Claude E. Watkins Sr. of 804 Ohio St., Walkerton. Ind., has completed the Ground Radio Repair Course at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, Calf. The course provided him with 11 weeks of technical instruction in the operation maintenance and repair of radio communication equipment in use by ground units of the Fleet Marine Force. FT. JACKSON. SC. (AHTNCIArmy Private Samuel J. Cecile, 19. son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Cecile, Route 3. Walkerton, Ind., completed a light vehicle driver course at Ft. Jackson. S.C., May 5. During the course, he was trained in the operation and maintenance of military vehicles up to and including the two and one-half ton truck.
