Owens, Walkerton, arc the parents of the bridegroom. Wearing a handmade gown of Chantilly lace over white satin, fashioned with a lace bodice, square neckline and long fitted sleeves adorned with sequins and dew drop pearls. The full floor length tiered skirt was of matching lace. She wore a crown of white satin leaves highlighted with pearls and dew drops- and a tulle veil trimmed with the lace. She carried a bouquet of white orchids, carnations and lily of the valley. Mrs. James Allen was the matron of honor. Other attendants were Mss Cynthia Clark, Mishawaka, and Miss Evelyn E. Theobald, sister of the bride. The misses Donna and Diana Rush, Park Forest, 111., nieces of the bridegroom, were the flower girls. The adult attendants wore light blue satin Empire floor length gowns with nylon chiffon bodices and trains. Matching pillboxes with dew drops and veiling completed the costumes. Charles Owens, ParK Forest, 111., was the best man for his brother. James Rush, Park Forest. brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Edward K. Hildreth, Kingsford Heights, cousin of the bride, were the ushers. J. C. Theobald Jr., brother of the bride, was the ring bearer. Following the reception in the American Legion Hall, Walker-

The bride was graduated from Walkerton High School and Mr. Owens from Grovertown High School. Lincoln-Liberty Farm Bureau Die Liberty-Lincoln Township Farm Bureau met in the North Liberty Community Building with Herman Brinkoff the vice-presi-dent presiding. Mrs. John Clark read the devotions. The Pet and Hobby club presented a program in honor of the mothers, this included a skit portraying family life. Mrs. Edwin Olson, District Women’s leader used as her topic “Mother". As she paid tribute to mothers, she also challenged them to live up to their responsibilities in their communities as well as their homes. Mrs. Warren Baughman, winner of District I speech contest, spoke on the theme “you make the difference”. Announcement was made of the rummage sale to be held May 12 and 13 at the North Liberty Community Building. The next meeting June 7. at the Community Building will feature a cake contest and a speaker from the St. Joseph County Dairy Council. It's the fiction in polices that causes the most friction.
