Girl Scout Adult Leadership Group Meets An adult leadership committee for the Walkerton Girl Scout Training area met at Motts Woods, Michigan City, Thursday, April 27. Mrs. W.H. Conger, Plymouth, was the instructor. Local leaders attending wen : Mrs. Ronald Steinke, Mrs. Ralph Wilson, and Mrs. Walter Pickavet. Also attending from Hamlet were: Mrs. Patricia Czernick and Mrs. Doris Willie. The session Involved, outdoor skillsday; training in the use of a compass; conservation; laying a trail; lash different types of fires, and progression in cooking. These training classes are important to adult leaders before they accept the leadership of troops this summer.

POOL TOURNAMENT The single pool tournament on Sunday night, May 7th will begin at 7:00 p.m. for 15 years and older at the Walkerton Recreational Onter in Walkerton with cash prizes awarded to the winners. List week tournament cash prize winners were first place. Leßoy Hahn, Jr. and Ron Northam and second place, Allen Schmeltz and Gary Wolfenbarger. 4-H BOYS TO MEET The Lincoln Township boy's 4-H meeting will be held Thursday, May 4 in the high school agriculture room at 4:00 o’clock. □—-- — —a TOANXS a 0 I would like to thank Rev.
