We urge parents to help children attractively display their xvork, (framing with wood, construction paper, etc.). Adults in the community who would like to exhibit their work but not be judged are invited to do so. Entries arc to be brought to the Walkerton Elementary School gym Saturday morning. May 6th. from 9:00 pm. to 11:30 pm At that time you will be asked to fill out a form to properly label your work and to put it where the signs designate. Entries will be judged and labeled for ribbons and prizes. When you return for the display on Sunday afternoon. May 7th between 2:00 p.m. and 4 00 p.m., you may sec all of the art work, and the winning contestants may receive their prizes at the Judges tables. Entries should be claimed immediately after tlie showing is over at 4 00 p. m. First prize entries will be askisl permission to leave their work with th-' art committee to be put on display In the various schools for a period of one week following the close of the contest. The art committee will not be responsible for any other work li ft unclaimed at the gym after the public showing is over at 4 00 p.m.

Community Club Enjoys Special Program The Women’s C' nimunnx club met Friday, April 20 .it the Town Club with a large group of members and guests present. The meeting was opened with prayer by the pre ident, Mrs. Frank Helfrick. America the Beautiful was sung aceompanic I at the piano by Mrs. J.F. Spencci Devotions were given by Mrs. Grace Atwoixl. A business meeting f<>ll'>we! and two names wen prvsente 1 f< r membership. It was decid»* , l to contribute a sum of money toward the Senior Prom entertainment. The high light of the day was a talk and slides of South America. This was given by Mrs. Ellen Brede who n-cen’ly returned from a tour of South America. The picturas wen beautiful and the talk informative and was enjoyed by all. Desert was served at one o’clock. The tables were attractively decorated xvith spring flowers and figurines. Hostesses were, Mrs. R.N. D-Feber, Mrs. George Fcrverda and Mrs. Fern Wilkerson. The club will attend the fellowship tea at the Tet garden church on May Sth.
