Miss Linda Serk, Grand Ambassador of Goodwill from Bremen; Miss Sizi Hollinshead. Grand rose lecturer, from Shawnee; Miss Debt i Ho|y< ross. Grand Rep. to Wisconsin, from South Bend; and Miss Kay Hux, Grand Rep. to Nevada, from Union Mills. The honor guest introduced her parents Mr. and Mrs. Myron Mullet and her two sisters Miss Maxine and Miss Rachel and other relatives and close friends who had come to honor her. She also introduced two college classmates from Indiana State University, Miss Ann Barnes oi Evansville and Miss Lynda Wood of Terre Haute, who were house guests of the Mullets. Miss Thornburg presented Miss Mullet and Miss Paetzel coragcs of a cimbidium orchid with hyacinth floredes from the assembly. Other special guests in th< East, introduced were Alfred Drews, Grand Chairman of dist. 1; Mrs. Irene Lidy. Walkerton, grand organizer, dist. 1; and Mrs. Drews, grand chairman of dist. 1. Visiting Mother Advisors present wore introduced along wit*> other heads of the Masonic and Eastern Star bodies and Rainbow In her speech of appreciation to her assembly. Miss Mullet praised her family, friends, Rainbow sisters for all the confidence placed in her when she accepted. She left no doubt in the minds of her lis< tners the lessons taught in Rainbow have been well adhered to. Miss Paetzel gave an inspiring message to all the new and younger members of Rainbow the true meaning of the obligation they took when thev became members of their assembly. The grace and poise of these two fine young women revealed the spiritual background both in the home and Church but also in the teachings found in the Rainbow Ritual. Mr. Gerald Moyer of Goshen presented for the evening program “The Year That Was" a story of the 12 months of the year shown by b< autiful colored slides with organ barkground music and narration on tape. Before the social hour began Miss Thornburg announced members of her Assembly would join her at the church of her choi< e. The Lutheran Church at Donaldson. the next morning for the morning worship in a body. A salad bar. coffee and punch were enjoyed following the meeting with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wolfenbrger. (hairman of the Walkerton Rainbow Board in
charge. Mrs. Waltr Jackson presided at the punch bowl. In the social area of the room a large bird cage with many la.»>;e paper colorful birds, bees and butterflies had been arranged.
