Easter Sunday supper guests of Mrs. Bertha Urbin were Dr. and Mrs. John Guttman and children from Wakarusa and Mi and Mrs. Robert Urbin. TTie grandchildren stayed over night and returned home on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. James Guttman and family of Sheridan spent this week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Guttman. Dr. and Mrs. John Guttman and family of Wakarusa were other Sunday dinner guests. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Epperson and family and Paul Doughtery of East Gary. Allan Epperson of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Kaufman and family of Fish Lake were Easter Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Esther Kaufman. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knowlton had for their guests over the Easter week end. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Delaney. Dawn and Scott and Mrs. Mary Delaney of W. st Lafayette, and Spl David Knowlton, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Knowlton and daughters and Dave Drews. Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Southworth were visitors of the latters perents, Mr. and Mrs. George Ochs over the week end. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Max Ochs. Lisa and Max Alan entertained for Easter dinner in their home, Mr. and Mrs. R. Southwoith, Mr. and Mrs. George Ochs. Mr. and Mrs. Williams Ochs. Teresa and Craig, and Mrs. Dorothy Cook of Groveitown. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schmeltz have received word that their son-in-law, Peter Markes of Niles Michigan suffered a stroke while in his motel room in Pennsylvania on March 12 and has been confined to Ellwood C/y hospital in Ellwrx>d City. Pa. His conditi' n is slightly improved and he was transferred by ambulance to Menu rial hospital. South Bend Tuesday of this week. Mr. Marks is a truck driver and was making a tr%a through the east.

Mr. and Mrs. Russell DeCoudres and sons were former North Liberty residents. A bountiful Turtle dinner was served on the Kemp's patio. Other guests were the Arthur Wilkersons. Mrs. Marie Stahfy and Mrs. George Ferverda. The Verkiers arrived home Wednesday March 22, in time to be present and take a part in the installation of their son and daughter in-law, Mr. and Mis. James Vukhr, as Matron and Patron of Walkerton Chapter 319 Order of the Eastern Star, Saturday evening, March 25. Miss Cleo Dirrim of Hamilton. Indiana spent the week end wFh her sister, Mrs. Elsie Johnson. On Saturday evening they were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cripe in South Bend. Easter Sunday. Miss Dirrim. Mrs. Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Keck, Linda, Dabra, and Robert spent Easter Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Long at Indiana University. Bloomington. Mrs. Long, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Keck, is employed at the Halls of Residence. Mr. Long is a Sophomore majoring in science. Tuesday evening guests of Mrs. Lucy Ullery who was celebrating her birthday were Mrs. Elmer Anderson, Knox, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight McKesson. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dill. Walkerton folk, spending the cold months at Pierce Lake. near Lake Wales, Florida, were entertained recently in the trailer home of M and Mrs. Louis Kemp. Mrs. Fred Shultz and children of Indianapolis are spending this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Masterman. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Welch and family went to Springfield, Illinois Sunday and had Easter dinner with Mr. Welch's parents, Mr. and Mis. Henry Welch. They returned home Monday afternoon. Miss Bai barn Ltdy, Columbia City, Ind., spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. Robert Lidy and sister, Kathy returned with her sister Sunday evening to spend a few days of her school vacation in Columbia City. Tim Gardner and college friend, Jacob Wu students at Indiana University spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gardner and Terry. On Sunday they were all guests of Mrs. Gardner's sister and family, Mr. ami Mrs. Richard Land in Wanatah.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Doll, returned Sunday from several months vacation in Texas. George Hershberger entered St. Joseph Hospital. South Bend, Monday for observation and treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Baker and Denise. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Huhnke, Linda and (’inly and Mr. and Mrs. David Clark were called to Quincy, Illinois last week by the death of Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Huhnke's sister, Mrs. Mary Whitmer. Mrs. Alice Millard has been dismissed from the hospital and is recuperating at her home. Week end guests of the Harry Mechlings were their daughter, Harriet of Chicago, and son.
