In a meeting with friends, the subject of Easter came up. - Easter, as everyone knows, is not celebrated on the same Sunlay every year. Some times it comes early; some times late Phis brought up an interesting guestion. Surprisingly, no one n the group could give the right answer. When you read the question, ask yourself whether you know the answer. ' Why does the Easter date change from year to year; why isn't it on the same date?” Know the answer? Here it is - Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday after the full moon I that occurs on March 21. or on any of the 28 days following § that date. Easter therefore can come as early as March 22 or i late as April 25; never before or later. Incidentally, we hope to have an interesting column appear for Easter. You will find it a little bit different from the usual Easter comment you hear and read. Watch for it. RAY A. NISBAUM, NESBAI M FINERAL HOME, Roosevelt Road and Ohio St., Walkerton.
