Temptation is as old as the history of mankind. We expect far too much if we believe that God will give us a life that presents no challenge to our conscience. Some may claim that the modern world surrounds us with temptations in greater number and variety than in times past. Perhaps this is •true; yet temptation works eternally upon the same human frailties. in (. hribtianity there is the strength of faith that has turned temptation aside for generations.
