Christmas Mailing Unsealed Christmas cards without writing, other than your name, may be mailed for 4c. but they cannot be forwarded or returned to you if undeliverable as addressed. Those bearing the letter rate, sc. can be forwarded or returned if undeliverable, provided your return address is given. Include your Zip-C’ode. Please auix the stamps on your cards or letters in the upper right hand corner. Separate them for local and out of town delivery and tie them in bundles with all addresses faced the same way. Do not use thread or string. Do not bundle less than ten letters. Local pertains to mail addressed to the same office where deposited, including rural routes. The proper forms are supplied without charge for your convewithout charge for your convenience in labeling the mail. Please ask the clerks or carriers for these forms. If the forms are not available, you may use slips of paper on which you have written, "all for local delivery” or "all for out of town delivery." Please hand these bundles of mail to the clerk at the counter. Select a strong, sturdy container and wrap your packages in good heavy paper and tie with a cord <»r strong twine so that they will reach their destination in good condition. Write or print the address <>n one side only. Place your return address in the upper left hand corner on the same side as the address. Avoid the use of olb-d or waxed paper for the outside wrapper. A card or paper may be placed inside the parcel containing name and address of sender and addressee*. A letter may be enclosed in the package if you mark on the outside "first class mail enclosed” and pay the rate for the letter plus the parcel post charge. Valuable package! should be insured.
