Mr. and Mrs. James Guttman and family of Sheridan, spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Guttman. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Hunt were the latter's sisters. Mrs. Harold Dimmick, Mrs. Irene Jones, Mrs. Kenneth Pearson and Mr. Pearson, all of Michigan City, and Mrs. Hunt’s mother. Mrs. Viola Emerson of Remington, Indiana. Mrs. Emerson r< turned to her home Wednesday after spending the past week here with her daughter. Mrs. Rose Collins of Lebanon, Indiana, spent last Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bandendistel. Mrs. Collins and Mrs. Bandendistel were former school chums. Richard Sicner of Denver, Colorado, spent the week end with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bandendistel. Mrs. George Seitz returned home Saturday from a weeks visit with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Milt Brown, in Kokomo. CELEBRATES 45TH WEDDING A N N I VERSA K V On Sunday. September 25. Mr. and M»s. Wiliam R. Waller of Tyner celebrated with a dinner at the Paddle Wheel Restaurant. Twenty-tnree guests made it a very enjoyable and memorable occasion. A reception followed later with a four-tiered wedding cake and buffet supper at the Waller home. Beautiful flowers were received and decorated the tables. A corsage was presented to Mrs. Waller and a boutoniere for Mr. Waller by their four grandchild dren. An orchid also arrived from California for the honored lady. It was a very happy occasion and well wishes are extended to the Waller family.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knowlton were surprised Sunday afternoon whin they receiv»‘d a call from Viet Nam from their son. David, who has been stationed near Saigon for nine months. The call was relayed by short wave radio. On Sunday. Sept. 23, David received a visit from Fred Ncidlinger, also from Walkerton, who is stationed at Vien Hoa. They’ spent the day together at Dian at the USO camp near where David is stationed. The boys who are cousins, were sure glad to see someone from home 10.000 miles away.
