Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hildebrand and family, of Avon, Ohio, were here on the August 27th week end to attend the late Albert Smith family get-together and dinner on August 2« at the Maple Grove Methodist Church Social room. Miss Beatrice Steele is now in the Walkerton Nursing Home. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Geesaman and daughter of Escondido, California. arrived home Saturday. Mr. Geesaman has completed his term of service in the Navy. The Youth Fellowship of the North Liberty Church of the Brethren, spent the week end in a retreat at the Shades Paik near Waveland. Twenty-three youth participated, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Betz. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holderread and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Naragon. Tri Kappa Has Sirst Meeting Os Season Several coming events were planned by members of the Epsilon Chi Chapter of Tri Kappa Sorority at a meeting Thursday night at the home of Mrs. John Powell. The first will be a dance in October with Mrs. Don Wray as chairman. Another event will be a hat show in March. Mrs. Bryce Rohrer presided foi the first time in her term as head of the sorority. Other officers are Mrs. David Mellin, vice president; Mrs. Harlan Kepcha, recording secretary; Mrs. Richard Hershberger, corresponding secretary; and Mrs. Robert Urbin, treasurer.
