r Don and Steve Ludwig spent the week end in Sinking Springs, Pa., with Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Ludwig. Mr. and Mrs. James Puckett, Patricia and James of Springville, West Va., spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Vandall and family. Bowlers—We still need a few couple for Mixed Doubles. Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. starting September 10th. Monday evenings at 9:15 p.m. starting September 12. Call Liberty Lanes, 656-8940 or Miek or Cal Anderson at 586-2010, Walkerton. 40TH ANNUAL LEMERT REUNION The 40th annual Lemert reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ruby and Rick in Walkerton last Sunday with an attendance of 85 coming from Tampa, Florida; Chicago, Ridge and Oaklawn. Illinois; Decatur, Michigan; Hobart. Union Mills, South fjend. Lakeville, Wanatah, Osceola, Elkhart. Hamlet, North Judson, Grovertown, LaPaz, Te< garden, Plymouth and Walkerton. A delicious carry-in dinner was enjoyed at noon. During the business meeting conducted by president Donald Fried, officers for 1967 were elected as follows: president, Richard Holderread; vice-presi-dent, Joi n Kemble; secretarytreasurer. Delcie H< Iderread. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Leota Lemert, 79, oldest present from H "bart; Geoffrey Brian Kickenapp, 4 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kickenapp of Watervliet, Michigan, was the youngest present; Mike Battles of South B nd won the attendance prize. " The n xt reunion will be held at the hoo e of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sto< i in Decatur, Michigan. Game- were played and prizes awarded o many.

Mr. rend Mrs. Loren Tiede and family of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, were guests over the week end’ of Mi', and Mrs. Jack Tiede and family. Mr. Tiede is Dean of Students at Lakeland College in Sheboygan. VISITING GRANDPARENTS Patty and William Roberts, children of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Roberts of Canoga Pa<<, Calif., have been guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Beaty and other relatives since their arrival on July 20th. This is their fourth trip "back east” since they left in 1956. They have helped to celebrate the birthday of their aunt, Mrs. Edgar Cole, and her wedding anniversary when Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Cole were guests of honor of the Beatys at a smorgasbord dinner at the Wagon Wheel in Warsaw. On Monday, the families met Mrs. Marie Roberts, of Fort Wayne, at the^Chain of Lakes State Park foiMi picnic and day of swimming. Miss Sharon Ullery was a guest of Patty. On Thursday, the Beatys and grandchildren went to Ohio to help Mrs. Beaty’s mother. Mrs. C. W. Campbell, celebrate her eighty-third birthday. All remained to attend a family reunion Sunday. Monday, August 15th, Bill was guest of honor of his grandparents for his fourteenth birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Cole and children were guests for the cake and ice cream. Mrs. Cole treated them to some miniature golf in the afternoon. The children have enjoyed picking blueberries and blackberries and exploring with their grandfather around and about Walkerton and on their great-grand-mother's farm in Ohio. They will return bv jet to Los Angeles ( n August 22nd.

Peggy and Jimmy Ruby of Culver are spending the week with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ruby. Sharon Knowlton spent several days last week in West Lafayette with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Delaney. Mrs. John Sheridan and son of Cranston, Rhode Island, are guests of her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Parks. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Knowlton and Connie, spent ten days in Fort Myers, Florida, visiting her mother and husband, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Lundquist. Enroute home they stopped in Dayton, Ohio, and were overnight guests of their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fleming. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Freeman and Mary Ann were Mr. and Mrs. Jess Doan of Cassopolis, Michigan; Mrs. Iva Freeman, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Freeman and Lori Ann. Mrs. John Travis and Eilene, Mrs. V illiam Carter, Walkerton, and Dorene Fouts of South Bend. Scott King, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert King, visited his great aunt. Mrs. Nelle Leba, in South Bend, and his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Brust in Winamac and also attended the Pulaski Co. 4-H Fair recently, while his parents and brother George were attending orientation for freshmen at North Manchester College, where George has enrolled for the fall semester. The rest of the week end was spent with relatives, Mr. and Mrs. George Douglass, in Huntington, Ind.

James Verkier, Walkerton, suffered a broken bone in his left arm last week in a fall while on the job with Harry Verkier Contractors, Inc., in South Bend.
