Ist. . The bride is the daughter of । Mr. and Mrs. David Kerr, Rt. 2, Walkerton, and Mr. Gibson's parents are the late Mr. and Mrs. John Gibson of Mishawaka, Ind. The bride, given In marriage by her father, wore a street length dress of white bonded rachel lace over taffeta, styled with a princess bodice, with long tapered sleeves. A V-neckline
highlighted the bodice with three rhinestone buttons in the front. The skirt followed the A-line pattern. Her shoulder length veil of illusion was accented by a pearl medallion. She carried a colonial bouquet of white carnations and sweet peas on a white Bible. The bride's sister, Mrs. George Roush, Rt. 3, Walkerton, was her sister’s only attendant. She wore a sleeveless dress of light blue lace over taffeta with an over jacket of lace with full length sleeves, accented with ruffling at the wrist. Her headpiece was a whimsical veil of blue illusion. She carried a corsage of pink carnations. George Roush, brother-in-law of the bride, served as best man. Robert Jahr, of Portage, Indiana, and brother-in-law of the bride, seated the guests. Following the ceremony, the brae's parents entertained in their home with a buffet supper. A three tiered wedding cake decorated in pink and white, centered the serving table. Mrs. Wayne Dipert and Mrs. Jahr, sisters of the bride, cut and served the cake. Out of town guests included: Mr. and Mrs. George Ball and family and Mrs. Mildred Warner of Elwood, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs Bruce Kerr and family of Pottage, Ind.; and Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Pearish of Knox, Indiana. Mrs. Kerr wore for her daughter’s wedding, a navy blue and white dress with pink accessories. Her corsage was of pink carnations. The bride graduated from the Walkerton High School and the South Bend Comptometer School. The groom graduated from Mishawaka High School. He is employed with the American Lock Co. in Knox. Ind. The couple will make their home in Knox.
