I Newcomer-Stump Reunion The 63rd annual Newcomer , and Stump reunion was held on Sunday, August 14, at Sheneman Grove east of North Liberty. A basket dinner was served at n<x>n which was enjoyed by all. In the afternoon, a meeting was called to order by president Pearl Stull
Election of oificers was held with Pearl Stull being made president for lite, and Claude Sheneman as vice-pi esident; Blanche Pontius as secretary-treasurer for 1967. Contests were enjoyed and Rev, John Stump gave a short ta’k. The oldest present was Loren Knowlton who is 85, and Todd Mickel Pontius was the youngest at 9 months old Kenneth Folk was the youngest married person, and Pearl Newcomer Stull received the attendance nward for attending all 63 reunions. There were 55 in attendance and the next reunion will be held on the second Sunday in August 1967 at the Sheneman Grove.
