Mrs. Radmacher, who is vacationing from her position at Roberton’s in South Bend, had as her guest Wednesday. Mrs. Maud Krist] of South Bend. Mrs. Betty Crossley of Lake Charles, La. 4 , is a guest of her mother, Mrs. Alice Barney. Mrs. Crossley’s children, Norma and David, 1 ' are visiting their grandmother Crossley in Hudson, lowa. Mrs. Fred. Harris of Chicago, spent the*week end with her mother, Mrs. Frank Dunn. Lisa and Douglas* £org .of Chlch^d 'catne' Tuesday evening and are spending several days with their grandmother Dunn. Mrs. Thomas Radmacher spent last week visiting friends and relatives in Louisville, Ky., and Corydon' Indiana, also visiting her sister, Miss Dora Faith, in Laconia, Indiana. Mr. and Mrs. William Lucius of Tiffin, Ohio, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hinz, and Mrs. E. D. Gerber and children on Wednesday and Thursday. Mrs. Steve Beach who had been visiting, returned to Sandusky, Ohio, with Mr. and Mrs. Lucius. Frank and Sharon Farner had a few friends and close family in their home last Sunday to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Savoie and family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard McNeal, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Loucks and family, Mr. and Mis. Russell Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Chet Bigler, Miss Ruth Fraiby, Miss Jo Ann Savoie and Joe Farner. A buffet style dinner was served.

Carla Baker is spend ; Tg this week with her aunt ana uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Baker and children in Bremen. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Kemp returned after spending five days in Park Ridge and Wilmette. Illinois. While there, Mr. Kemp went to Wywega, Wisconsin and spent two days visiting. Mr. Kemp was born in Wywega and had not been back since he was a small boy. . M; s. Daisy , Renmhj^n of Wausaukee, Wisconsin, and her son Ron, of Alaska, and Mrs. Mildred Barnes, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Holland and Jim. Afternoon callers were Mrs. Mae Kleckner, a sister of Mrs. Pennington, and Mrs. Lowell Bradley of Knox, and Mrs. Walter Shores. Ron Pennington will return to Alaska next week where he is a teacher at Fort Greely. Last week Mr. and Mrs. Marion Sharpe of Ridgeville. Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Harry Duffy, Mrs. Sam Ellison and Mr. and Mrs. “Doc” Hisey, of Mishawaka; Mr. and Mrs. Ambros Leis of Fort Wayne, and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bandendistel. were callers from out of town Sunday, and Mrs. George Reusch and sons. John and Th mas, of South Ft .Mitchell. Ky., were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. ('hdc Banden'’i<tel. J. hn Reusch. their rand nn. is leaving for Tub । Okla.. Wednesday to attend school on a full sch larship in fi" tball. He was named t > the All-Northern Kentucky Conference team and also co-lineman of the year.

Mrs. Clem Tuttle and Jerry, and Mrs. Connie O'Brien and two children, spent two days last week with their son and brother, James Tuttle and family in Hammonl On Friday, Mrs. O'Brien and her children left for their home in California, after spending six weeks with her mother and family and friends. Mr. an Mrs. John Guttman and Mr. and Mrs. William Engleman entertained at a dinner party Saturday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Russell Warren of Sarasota, Florida. The Warrens are former residents of the Tracy area and also former teachers in LaPorte county. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Fay Parker of Laporte; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Duval of Kingsbury; and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Emigh of Tracy. On Monday, Mrs. Guttmarf and Mrs. Engleman enterfained at a dessert bridge for Mrs. Warren in the Engleman home. Present were Mrs. Glen Duval. Mrs. Evan Gerard. Mrs. Fay Parker, Mrs. Mike Moyer, Mrs. Virgil Emigh, and Mrs. "Doc" Smith. A family picnic was enjoyed at the Wayne Dipert cottage at Koontz Lake last Saturday evening, honoring Mrs. Daisy Pennington of Wausaukee, Wisconsin. and her son. Ron of Fort Greely, Alaska.
