lIOCALS^ 9 NORTH LIBERTY Mrs. Charles Wharton is a patient in Memorial Hospital, in South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Glover ©f Warsaw visited Mr. and Mrs. Del Pearse on Sunday. Mrs. Kay Biery and son of St. Joe. Indiana, spent last week With Mrs. Pauline Morris. Soni Kay Reed spent Wednesday with her grandmother, Mrs. Arno Reed. Week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Dutcher were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dutcher of Huntington. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Balsley and family were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Figg. Sunday dinner guests in the William Dutcher home were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Myers of Mishawaka. Afternoon guests were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Pontius of Koontz Lake. James Mlekodaj left Sunday for Camp McCoy, Wisconsin, for eight weeks of training. James is in Co. B 12th Special Forces Air Borne Div., Green Berets. After returning from Camp McCoy. James will have a short stay at home and leave for a Special Forces Camp. Mrs. Anita Snyder, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth C. Snyder and family and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Annis and family, all of North Liberty, recently spent two weeks in Monett, Missouri, visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Taulbee and Melissa. The Taulbee’s are former residents of North Liberty. Also recent overnight guests in the Taulbee home were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Aldrich and children of North Liberty, who stopped over on their way to Florida.

Miss Fannie Patrick of Walkerton spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sheneman. Mr. and Mrs. Walte r Taylor visited Ml and Mrs Roland Lichtenberger in LaPaz Sunday evening. T h u r s d a y evening supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sheneman were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Folk of South Bend and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Murphy. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Naragon and family of Walkerton were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Beron and family. Monday guests of the William Dutchers were Mr. and Mrs. James Tribbey and children of York, Pa.; Mrs. Paul Tribbey and Nace of Lakeville; Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Bolenbaugh of Teegarden; and Mrs. Keith Dutcher and children of South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Mamerow and Junior, attended a family get-together Saturday in the William Heck home at Tippecanoe. Others attending were Mrs. John Oberly of Wyatt; Mrs. William Shields of Diamond Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Oberly of Mishawaka; Mrs. Jack Cunningham and daughter of Portage. Guests of Mrs. E. P. McDaniel on Monday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Earl McDaniel, Dean and Dwight, and Mrs. Judith Tucker and daughter of Elkhart; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Mikesell of Nicocomis, Florida; Mrs. Inez Bechtel, Mr. and Mrs. Dan McDaniel and family and Mr. and Mrs. David Spellman and Dirk.
