Word has been received of the death of Nelle Ferguson, a former Koontz Lake resident who passid away Tuesday afternoon in Lansing, 111. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Huhnk c Jr. and Cindy spent a week in El Paso. Illinois, with Mrs. Huhnke’s father, Melvin Robbins and other relatives. Diane Pontius accompanied her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Bonme Church of Plymouth on a two weeks vacation to Colorado and South Dakota where they visited friends, returnmg home Monday evening. Mrs. Donald Noach of Clarksburg, Maryland and Mirs Nettie Morrison of Benton Harbor, are spending several days this week with their sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Curby Cochran. Major Vern Hurst of Huntersfl;eld, Savannah. Ga., his son Tim of Tampa, Florida, and Mrs. Hazel Hunst of Willard, Ohio, spent several days last week with Mrs. Belle Hardenbrook, aunt of Major Hurst. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bates and family of Decatur, Ala., were recent guests of his grandmo her, Mrs. Norman Fults. On July 4th the Bates and Mrs. Fults were guests of the Lynn Fettels at their cottage at Mag ; cian Lake near Dowagiac, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Da.nkert were guests of honor at a surprbe anniversary party on their 38th wedding anniversary Saturday evening with a dinner at Shori’s Restaurant in Plymouth. Present were the Lyle Lancaster ’family; Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Kinney and son: Mr. and Mrs. Gene Haney and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Cochran and family of Charleston, South Carolina, are spend ng a three weeks leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Cochran. Mr, Cochran is in the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. William Hasse and family of San Diego, Calif., w;ill arrive Monday for a tub weeks visit with Mrs. Hasse's parents, Mr. and Mi's. Lows Hou* ser and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Tuttle and daughters, returned from a trip to McCook, Nebraska where they visited cousins, th e Jack Tuttle family. Enroute home they stopped in St. Louis and saw the new memorial arch, Gateway to the West, and new baseball stadium.
