Mr. and Mrs. J^'lm Guttman arrived home Sunday from a months vacation trip to Southern Africa. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Milligan and family of Pai k Ridge, Illinois spent the fourth of July week end v(ith Mr. and Mr. Lews Kemp. Their glanddaughter, Janice, remained for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hostetter and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur DeMyer and son, spent ten days vacationing at Backus Minn. Whilfl there Court Webb of Detroit Lakes, Minn., visited them. Week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Watkins Sr. and wn, Murray were Mr. and Mrs. Claude Watkins Jr, and family of Oary; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Stevens and dhiklnn of Cincinnati; and Jack Watkins now stationed at San Diego, California. Claude Sr. and Claude Jr.. Jack and Clifford all went to Canada fishing for a few day.’ over the week end.

John Glenn Loses Two In Baseball The John Glenn High School baseball team dropped their last two enntests as Jimtown down d them 9-2 and North Liberty triumphed in a high scoring game 14-9. This evened their season record at 2-2. Jtmto^i used eight hits in gaining their win. over JG with Farrell pitching the entire game for the win. John Glenn had only tliree hits.
