In response to the invitation to the United Methodist Youth Choir from Mr. and Mrs. George Parks, 29 members enjoyed a svfm party followed by a wiener roast. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Parks for a very enjoyable evening. Rev. and Mrs. Clair Si pie and two children, formerly of South Bend, have been visiting her mother, Mrs. Thomas Gordon, before moving to Bemedji, Minn., wher 0 he has been assigned to the Methodist church.

Mrs. Bertha Urbin spent the Week end at her daughters, Dr. and Mrs. John Guttman and family in Wakarusa, Mrs. Harold Williams and Joan spent last W dnesday with Mr. and Mrs. Butch Smith at North Manchester. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Verkler and and son, Stanley of Vista, Colorado, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gus X erkler and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Walter LaFeber and family of Ithica, New York arrived Sunday to spend a fowl days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph N. InFeber, Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bufah were Mr, and Mrs. Jack Ryan and family and Mrs. Robert Urbin. Misses Janet and Julie Ryan are spending a few days with their grandparents. Mrs. Thomas Gordon left Saturday for Kalespell, Montana where she üBJ be joined by her two brothers and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Hartsock of Longview, Washington, and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hartsock of Ray, North Dakoto for a family reunion on July 4th. Mrs. Gordon will accompany the latter brother home for an extended visit.

Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Koontz Lake, who i-r visjiing friends in this area, was greeted Friday noon at the Y-Go-Bye Restaurant by friends for a social chat and luncheon. BRIDAL SIKWTR A bridal shower honoring Miss Myrlynn Dixon vhs given Thursday evening, June 23, in the Walkerton Town Club. Hostesses were Mrs. Robert Lidy and Mrs. Eugene Dixon of Walkerton and Mrs. Charles Dixon of North Liberty. A blue and white umbrella suspended from the ceiling. and streamers decorated the room. Games and contests were enjoyed. Mrs. Jolin Anspaugh received the door prize. A clever pi2k and silver ribbon corsage was given Miss Dixon as she airived for th e party. Following refreshments the bride-ele« t opened her gifts from a prettily decorated table. Included in the 35 guest list were friends from Walkerton and North Libert y.
