Mrs. Dorothy Henry and Otto Hoizhauser of Willard, Ohio, Spent several days as guests this Week of Mrs. Vern Harden brook. Mr. and Mrs. Noble Sheatsley Jr., of Alexandria. Virginia, spent from Friday to Sunday visiting his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Nobe Sheatsley Sr. They were here to attend the Alumni banquet and tht 25th. anniversary of his graduating class. BABY SHOWER GIVEN Mrs. Ray Chapman, assisted by Mrs. Mahlon Jacob, gave a luncheon party recently honoring Mrs. James Ridenour and infant son, Bteven H. u|io came to make his home with Shelby and Jim. The party wm hold in the recreation room of the Chapman home. Mrs. Ridenour was presented a corsage upon her aiTivaJ. The refreshment tables were •overed w ith white cloth in an infant motif. White streamers Were suspended from the ceil tog to each corner of the gift table where many lovely gifts were placed. There were 30 guest* present, among whom were the baby’s grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Miller and Rev and Mrs. V. L. Gamer of Rochester, are spending several days this week fishing at Lake Wawasee. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Beagles entertained at dinner Sunday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Beagles and Mr and Mrs. Roger Hellinga and Tommy. The occasion was in honor of Mis. Raymond Beagles birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Miller and Mi - , and Mix Arthur Barden, attended the wedding of Marvin Eastlund to Phyllis Brower at Roann. Indiana, last Saturday night. i Mr. and Mis. Harold Knowlton, Sharon and Gene and Denny Johnson spent last Sunday in West Lafayette visiting Mr. and Mrs. Cart Delaney. Dawn and Scott, Mrs. Knowlton remained for several day’s to help take care of Scott who was born May 31. Mrs. Arthur DeMyer was the guest of honor at a surprise birth’ day party held at the Paddle Wheel Restaurant last Wednesday noon. Present were Mrs. Irwin Schwartz. Mrs. Howard Clouse. Mrs. Jerry Schwartz a c d Jodie of Nappanee; Mrs. Clare LaPla and Vicki of South Bend.; Mrs. Gerald Ross of Lakeville; Mrs. Glen Hostetler, Mrs. John Shaui Mrs. Harold Knowlton and Mrs. Dean Knowlton.

Morhi Hiro and Tom Fujimura of Honolulu and Indiana University, Bloomington, were here visiting the Agnew Ludwigs from Thursday thru Sunday. Mrs. Rena Kickbusn of Cattaraugus, New York, spent several days last week with her son and family, Mr. asd Mrs. Richard Kickbush.
