There is legal adoption, financial help to institutions for the homeless, the Big Brother program, and others. If more people were aware of the good work that can be done, so easily, these programs would be greatly benefitted. But, there is also, perhaps, need for a program to help some of the children who have only part time parents. The part time parent believes that food, shelter and clothing are the total parental responsibility. The parttime parent may be so busy that he or she is never home except at mealtime. Or, perhaps, the part-time parent is so concerned with a business or a hobby that children become little more than speaking acquaintances. There should be some way to educate these parents to the child’s need for guidance, instruction, companionship, and some genuine display of parental affection. But, these parents are hard to find. Often, they don’t even “ecoenixe themselves.

Being a Christian today is not the challenge that it used to be. We can practice our beliefs quietly, without fear of persecution or public embarrassment. For some of us, it is almost effortless. We live our religion one day a week, and perhajis only part of that day. And, what alxiut God? He doesn't appear before us with a personal message of salvation and promise. He does not bring miracles for our eyes to see and our wisdom to ponder. Can we believe then, that nothing is impossible with God? We must. The truth of God is present everywhere in our world, in the universe, in the wonders of all creation. Read your BIBLE daily and GO TO CHURCH SUNDAY *~***~"^^
