They attended the christening of their granddaughter, Lynn Marquandt at Hope Lutheran Church at Cedar Lake. Mr. and Mrs. James Keyes of Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. George Dekker and sons of Naperville. Illinois were guests of Mrs. Beas Turribull Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Shinn returned home after spending nearly four weeks visiting the following places in Florida: Key West: Silver Springs: Cypress Gardens: Miami. They covered over 4.000 miles on their trip. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Allen are entertaining her mother for a few weeks, Mrs. Harold Lowder, Denver. Colo. Mrs. Alex Crawford spent one day in Dolton. 111., as guest of her daughter and family, Mrs. Helen Penacco. * Mr. and Mrs. Percy Selkirk attended the funeral of a former resident of the lake. Tom Moore, in Garrett last Saturday. They accompanied Denslow Doll. Mr. Moore passed away in California. ’
