Mr and Mrs. Joseph Emmons find Matthew of Des Plaines, 111., were Friday guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Dutcher.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gordon and Mr. and Mrs, William Doan and family were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roliert Rauen to help Aaron celebrate his fifth birthday on Saturday. The Tabor Youth Group attended the International Youth Rally Sunday at the First Pre.-byterian church in South Bend. Donald Wolfenberger were elected Worthy Matron and Patron of the Walkerton chapter 319, Order ol Eastern Star, at their regular meeting Tuesday. February 1. Other elective officers to assume their offices tollowing installation in March are: Mr. and Mis. James Verkier, Associate Patron and Matron; Mrs. Charlie Steinke secretary; Mrs. Robert King, treasurer; Mrs. George Parks, conductress, and Mrs. Robert Lidy, associate conductress. Mrs. Wolfenberger announced Saturday, March 26. as the date for public installation. Worthy Matron, Mrs. John McCombs. announced that the next meeting, February 15, will honor the sideliners. A memorial service was held for the late Mrs. Ethel Robinson of South Bend, who was an honorary member of the Walkerton Chapter. Mrs. Mary Bauer and Mis Edward DeVos, were proteins in th< stations of Martha and marshal, respectively. Mrs. Walter Jackson was greeter at the door.
