The interest of mankind is peculiarly attracted by example? of single guodneea in high place®; for that testimony to the worth of goodnes® is the most i-triklng which is borne by those to Whom all the means and pleasures and f»elf-indulgence lie open. The courage to try to do a thing before you know h<*w, the patience to keep on trying after you have found out that you did not know how. and the perseverance to renew the trial as many times as necessary until you do know how, are the three conditions of the acquisition of physical skill menial power, moral virtue or personal excellence.
The patihway of life becomes easier for us if we are blessed with the qualities of faith and trust in God. For an example, we need only to look to the life of Christ U|xmi earth. Christ endured temptation, stiffen'’^, even death because it was God’s will that mankind should b« given the opportunity to earn salvation. There is no letter example of a life of dedication anti service. Because Christ did “taste death for every man” the pathway to salvation 13 clearly marked. It is much easier for us to place our trust in God, with the realization that God will not demand of us w greatly. Raad yaur BIBLE daily and GO TO CHURCN SUNDAY
