Knepp, the afternoon hero, rebounded another for a basket and with just :47 seconds left, the Shaamrocks pulled even for the fir t time since early in the game as Mlekodaj hit a pair of charity shots. The big action was yet to come. With :34 seconds left, a bad pass re ulted in a foul in the middle nf the floor a Westhaver hit Koselak. Koselak' s first hot was good, but the second one mi.ssed only to have the Shamrock retain possession on Scott’s important rebound. ITus led to another foul of Ko elak by Westhaver an<l thus time the first of the one-and-one was missed but again Scott pulled the ball off the board . With :13 seconds to play and a slim 55-54 lead. Koaelak was fouled by Klotz and he hit the first shot but missed the second. Once more Scott's presence was important as he tied up the rebound, but the Trojans gained posse sion on the jump. TrWon Pulls Ahead The two teams broke rather conservatively as they worked from the out idea« the zones were tough. Triton di played some fine outshooting as Klingerman hit their first two baskets on long bombs With 4:44 showing on the clock, the game wais tied on a ba ket by Kane, but from here. Triton started to pile up the lead they enjoyed until the final minutes. Bailey and Kuntz hit baskets to start the drive. After a set shot by Ginzer, it was Klingerman. Kuntz and Khngerman again, making it 16-8 Mlekodaj hit a jumper but the team, ju t traded points until the end of the period when Triton led 21-14. The second quarter was slow on the scoring basis as the team, continued to work from out. After the teams traded four points for three in the first three minutes. Klotz hit three straight baskets and Kuntz hit aga n from under and after Scott's free throw' cut it to 40-37, Kuntz hit three straight baskets before the quarter ended to keep the Trojan* ahead by nine. 46-37, setting up the exciting climax. Scoring Well Balanced Koselak end-M the night with 14 to pare the balanced attack that found even box’s score at least four points. Scott had 13 for the other Shamrock in double figures Klotz paced all scorers with 16 on eight baskets and Bailev Klingerman and Kuntz each had 11.
