Shamrocks Come From Behind To Nip Tigers 12-7 A third quarter drive of 70 yards brought the Shamrocks from behind Friday night to win their fourth straight in the 1965 football season and keep them undefeated for a string of 12 in a row over two seasons. This touchdown erased a 7-6 New Carlisle lead that had marked the first time this season the North Liberty defense had been scored upon. N. Liberty Statistics N. The try for the extra point failed but the ice was broken. The lead was short lived. Th* Tigers took the kickoff from the Shamrocks and moved right down field in a sustained drive and Tim Moffitt climayed the drive with an 18 yard run to tie the score at 6-8 However, the tie was onlv as long as it took to run th^ extra point as Greg Williams went over for the seventh and leading point. । • Qi Friday & Saturday Oct. 1 & 2 Glen Ford Henry Fonda The Rounders in color — AND — Lili in color Leslie Caron Mel’ Ferrer Jean Pierre Aumont Zsa Zsa Gabor Kurt Kasznar

The second half found the Shamrocks coming back to take the lead with a touchdown by Marl bhafer on a nine yard sprint after the sustained urive of 70 yards. This play made it 12-7 and again the try for the joint after was no good and the Shamrocks held a lead that was in jeopardy the rest of the way as any kind of a touchdown play would not tie the contest, but give the Tigers the lead. However. the Shamrock defense again proved as good as the occasion called for as they held the Tigers out and went on for the close 12-7 victory.
