Mrs. Robert Lidy. Mother Advisor, and Miss Lorraine Mullet. Worthy Advisor, wen seated in the east and fourteen girls Were seated on the sideline. Worthy Matron, Mrs. John McCombs. prennted Mrs. Lidy, who is also a grand organizer of Rainbow, and Miss Mullet who is ako a grand ambassador of Goodwill o! Rainbow for Guis in Indiana. with verses of praise for the ( tder which is sponsored by OES. Mrs, Alfred Drews, grand chairman. Mr Dn ws. grand lecturer. and RoJiert Lidy, Rainbow "Pop’ and grand ogamzer. were introduced. Mrs. Lidy gave a resume of aecomlishment.s completed in the Assembly during the past year. Under the direction of Miss Mullet, Miss Laura Jo Thornburg read scripture and girls representing the seven color stations presented a program of verse, in appreciation and explanation of Rainbow teachings. Miss Mullett presented the chapter with a gift from the as cmbly. The girls closed their program with the Rainbow Prayer song During the opening of chapter the Worthy Matron greeted all and introdued two guests. Mrs. Burd Smith of Homewood, Ala . chapter and Ann Kenh of the N< ith Liberty chapter. The chapter will serve the dinner fur the St. Jieeph Scottish Rite Ladies Night, to be hold at Walkerton fid 22 The next meeting. Oct 5. 25year membe rs will lx- honored. Happy Birthday was sung to Mrs D Giftakis The meeting was closed with a poem “The Inner Man" read by Mrs McCombs. Protems serving for the opening and closing were Mrs Drew* Mrs Mary Bauer. Mrs Edward Petersen and Mrs. Newton Williams. During the social hour refreshments were served by Mrs. Melvin Alwinc Mrs Bauer. Mrs. Millie Duuher. Mrs. Walter Pickavet and Mrs Glen Stahly.
