Mr. and Mrs. Harry Clark spent Sunday with Arch Hastings in LaPorte. Mr. and Mrs. P. Rust of Kokomo, were Thursday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ulrich. Mrs. Arno Reed and Soni Kay Reed visited Mrs. Beit Six in [Walkerton Wednesday. Mrs. William Kurzhal and Kathie Kurzhal of South Bend, spent last week with Mrs. Nellie Smith and other relatives here. Brenda and Brian Craft of South Bend, and Lou Ann Whitaker. of Lakeville, were recent guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Taylor. Miss Katie Price returned to her home in Casa Grande, Artz., Wednesday, after visiting with relatives here during the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Wilder Burnside of Walkerton, Mrs. Addie Hanson and Cleo Sheneman were Sunday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sheneman. The occasion was the birthdays of Mrs. Hanson and Mr. Burnside. The Mummy reunion was held at Sheneman’s Grove Saturday evening with 22 present coming from Lafayette. LaPaz, Walkerton, Mishawaka and Chicago. The next reunion will be the 4th Sunday in Juno at the same place. Mr. and Mrs. Fred DeCoudies were Sunday dinner guests of Drs. Otis and Helen Calvin and family in South Bend. The occasion was in honor of the birthdays of Cynthia and Conrad Calvin.

The condition of Herman Steele i s improving. He is a patient in the Walkerton Nursing Home. Mrs. Richaid Glover of Warsaw visited hei parents. Mr. and Mrs. Del Pearse Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Whiteleather and daughter of South Bend, visited Esther Harmon. Sunday dinner guests in the Charles Ulrich home were Mr and Mrs. Donald Bain of Coloma. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fults of Bremen, were Sunday guests of Mrs. Gertrude Sousley. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Balsley and Tanya attended the Gull Lake Bible Conference near Kalamazoo, last week. Mrs. John Schrader and Mrs. John Miller of New Road went to Gas City Tuesday to spend the day with Mrs. Millet's daughter, Mrs. Keith Tice. Mrs. Robert Clingenpcel entertained a group of friends at a pink and blue shower for Mrs. David Pedzinski of LaPorte, last Wednesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Balslej* and children and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Schlarb and children were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Johnson. Rev. and Mrs. Ray Mills and family of Gary. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Gentty and Marjorie, Mr. and Mrs. Del Pearse, spent Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Max Steele and family at Bass Lake. The WSCS of the Wesleyan Methodist Church had as guests, members of the Mishawaka. Star and Beaver Creek societies at a picnic at Sheneman's Giove on Tuesday night. Rev. and Mrs. George Holston of Kokomo, and Mrs. Ethel Kurzhal of South Bend, were guests of Mis Esther Harmon. The Holstons spent some time with Faith Sorgenfri and children of Walkerton Monday.

William Kurzhal and Donald Perry spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Perry in Big Fork. Minnesota. Rev. Dean Krelg returned home Sunday after attending the annual conference and camp meeting at Fairmount. Mrs. Kreig and children attended both week ends. Mts. Fred Keller of Buchanan, Mich., and Mi’s. Nellie Baughman of Lakeville, called on Mr. and Mrs. John Hawblitzel in South Bend, and also on Mrs. Carrie Hawblitzel at St. Joseph hospital.
