To Teach English In Walkerton 1111 * • SI Jo Ellen Walmotn of Culver, Indiana, has accepted a position with the Polk-Lincoln-Johnson School Corporation and will teach English in grades 5. 6 and 7 nt Walkerton Elementary School. Mrs. Wahnoth completed her Master degree at Indiana University with the class of 1965 and majored in Educational Psychology. Her undergraduate woik was done at Ball State University, Muncie, earning h'r B S degree in Education in 1962. She was active in the Social Science Club, the Ball State News. Year Bock staff, and National Association for Childhood PMucation. Her husband. Captain Raymond Walmoth, is Equitation Instructor of Culver Military Academy. They have one son. Grant Morris. Mrs. Wai moth previously was a teacher in West Twp. school, grade 6. and did homebound teaching for the Plymouth Community schools. mi See You Ln Church Sunday

Chamber Enjoys Tour Os plant Twenty-five members of the Walkerton Chamber of Commerce met at Heil's Restaurant last Thu sday noon for their August meeting. The main part of the program included a tour of the Walkerton Tor 1 and Die Co., which was enjoyed by all tho e making the triply his young business has grown rapidly in Walkerton and their big, new plant, exempli cs the success the fiim is having. At the dinner, guests introduced included Thomas J. Roemer and William J. Mayotte, the attornies who have opened a law office in Walkerton. Also present for his first meeting was Jack Holloway, associated with the Walker ton Lum! er and Coal Company, Dr. Walter LaFeber, a professor at Cornell University, was a guest of his father and the group. Plans are being worked out for a special met ting in September to be announced at a later (Late. BETROTHED Mr. and Mrs. Chester L.
