Miss Dorotny Wright of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Robert Commer of Seattle, Washington, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred DeCoudres Tuesday, Mr. Commer is the son of the late Mrs. Carrie Flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sheneman and Mrs Mary Mcßride of Lakevtlle, attended the open house last Wednesday evening for Penny Sheneman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sheneman in South Bend, who graduated from day High School. Karen, attended the Summ< r Frertmian Registration program at Indiana Central college in Indianapolis on Wednesday Karen graduated from the Greene Twp. high school June 10. and r<oeived a >3OO scholarship from Indiana Central which Is renewable as long as a high scholastic average is maintained.

The home and contents of Joe Patinella on Pine Road was destroyed by fire Saturday night. DuWayne Neidlinger graduated June 11 from the College of Commerce in South Bend. DuWayne was valedictorian of the class. Visitors Sunday 'n the Del Pearse home were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Glover and Jane of Warsaw. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jackson of South Bend, and Mrs. Radmacher and friend of Walkerton. The Youth Group of the First Brethren Church, gave a surprise party for the seniors at? Shene - man's Grove Sunday evening. The seniors honored wue Chuck Oberly. Jack Jackson. Roberta Kring Kay Fay and Susie Overmyer. Mr and Mrs. Kirn iru Roush honored their son. David, with an open house following his commencement June 9. Among relatives and friends present were his grandparents. The Shades lived in Liberty Twp. a number of years before moving to Michigan.

More came in the afternoon. Nominated for new secretary was Clyde Lancaster. The oldest present was Mrs. Margaret Kreps of North Liberty; youngest, Michael Johnson of South Bend, and coming the longest distance was Mrs. Ted Hcacox of St. Petersburg, Florida. The next reunion wall be held at 'lie home of Mr. and Mi's. William Purvis at Lakeville.
