DEATHS ° □ Q Mr». Kathleen Teghtmeyer Mrs. Kathleen Mary ’legnimey»r, 40, Ok Holorook, Arizona, died of injuries in a two car accident at 5:30 a.m, Friday, June 11. The accident occured near Flagstaff, Arizona. Mrs. Teghtmeycr was born on January 31, 1025, in Crumstown, Ind. Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Zanrn, of Walkerton; a daughter, Linda Kay Klinedinst, Walkerton; five sons, Kenneth Lee Klinedinst, with the U. S. Navy; Thomas Dee Klinedinst, Larry Joe Khueuinst, and Forest William Klinedinst, all of Walkerton; and Ernest Ray Teghtmeyer, of Holbrook; three sisters, Mrs. Deloyce Cripe and Mrs. Glen Stillson, both of Walkerton, and Mrs. Harry KTeighbaxim, of Danville, Ind.; and two brothers, Gilbert and Gerald Zahm, both of Walkerton. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Nusbaum Funeral Home with Rev. David Gwen, pastor of the Walkerton Presbyterian Church, oificiating. Burial was in Wooolawn Cemetepr, Walkerton. Mrs. Alta Heusi Mrs. Alta Heusi, 85, of 618 E. Maple Ave., LaPorte, died June 8 in Holy Family Hospital after several years illness. Mrs. Heusi was bom in Vermillion, Ohio, on Feb. 13, 1880. She was married in LaPorte on April 4, 1916, to Frank B. Heusi, who preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Lloyd E. Cooper, LaPorte; one daughter, Mrs. Max S. Miller. Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Norman Fults. Walkerton, and Mrs. Ben Palin, Wingate. Ind.; one brother, Kenneth Reece, of Soulh Bend; one step-son, George L. Heusi, LaPorte; two step4aughters, Mrs. Norman Kasbaum ind Mrw Landon. Kasbaum, both fdM-yPorta; . four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Friday in the Haverstock Funeral Home in LaPorte, with the Rev. Dr. Floyd L. Blewfield officiating. Banal was in Pine Lake cemetery. Fmlmrk Maorer Frederick Maurer, 84, a former South Bend resident, died Saturday in the Wright Nursing Home. Orlando, Florida, after an illne.se of several years. 1881, and came to the United States with his parents in 1887. He had lived in South Bend and St. Joseph County until twelve years ago. He married Fannie Mae Krieger of South Bend in 1905. She survives with two sons, Frederick DeVon and Robe it, ixith of Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Bemiece Marlin of Florida, and Mrs. Edna Smith of Walkerton; a brother, Jake, of Wakarusa, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Sherman of Lakeville. He was a member of the North Park Baptist church. Burial was in Orlando. James W. McCoy Funeral services for James Weldon McCoy, 64, who dkd at 11:20 p.m. Saturday in his home at Koontz Lake, W’ere held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Rannellg Funeral Home in Hamlet. Rev. Paul Loucks, pastor of the Koontz Lake United Missionary Church, officiated and burial was in Woodlawn cemetery, Walkerton. Mr. McCoy was employed by the Current Central Company, of South Bend. He was born May 8, 1901, and married Juno 28, 1941, in Chicago, to Anna Bork Quanstrom. He has lived in the Koontz Lake area for 22 years, coming here from Chicago. Surviving are ms wife; tw-o brothers, Ed, of Warsaw, and Roland, Cedar Lake; and one sister, Mrs. Alma Granger, of Cedar Lake. Harold F. Myers Harold F. Myers, 53, Plymouth, died at 8:10 a.m. Tnursday in the R. N. Nursing Home. He w r as born Dec. 31. 1911, in Saybrook, Illinois, and had lived most of his life in Teegardtn. He was a member of the First Brethren Church. He is survived by one sister. Mrs. Irene Troutner of South Bend; one half sister, Mrs. Edward Forusman of North Liberty; threa half brothers, Charles Myers of Franklin, Wis.; John Keck of Plymouth, and Raymond Keck of Walkerton; one step sister, Mrs. Estella Sayre of Dallas, Texas; tw'o step brothers, Rev. Elmer Keck of Curro Gordo, Hl., and James Keck of Teegardeen. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Nusbaum Funeral Home. Rev. Clauda Stogsdill of the First Brethren Church of Teegarden, officiated with interment in the Polk Towmship Cemetery. It pays to remember that good work in the past qualifies one for better jobs in the future.
