John Gonas To Participate In Delinquency Work Judge John S. Gonas, Wakertun attorney, memtx r of the Law Firm, Taylor, Gonas and Stephan, is highly honored by an ivitation irom Edward Galway, Chief of Lhe Section of Social Defense of the United Nations European office in Geneva, Switzerland, to participate in the third United Nations Congress on Prevention of Crime, Juvenile Delinquency and Treatment of Off.ndeis. The United Nations Congress, 1965, will take place in Stockholm, Sweden. August Bth to 17th. The honor of invitation to Judge Gonas came to him because of his long interest and experience in juvenile work. Judge Gonas attended the first Congress in Geneva, Switzerland in 1955 and participated on the invitation of Dag Ham mars jold. While judge of the juvenile court, Judge Gonas gained national and international fame in juvenile work. His delinquency was the lowest, not only in the State of Indiana, but among the lowest in the nation. Judge Gonas not only participated in the r T nited Nations conference in 1955, but was also a delegate at the international Juvenile Judges Conference of the World.
