Mrs. Emery Flaugher, poppy chairman, reported a successful poppy sales in Walkerton Friday and Saturday, and expressed her appreciation to the community for their cooperation, as well as the women and youngsters who participated. The cash attendance prize was not picked up as the recipient, Mrs. Arthur Schmeltz, was not present. Mrs. John Groves and Mrs. Lawrence Pontius served refreshments. □ - □ THANKS □ □ The E.U.B. Youth Fellowship would like to thank Frank Hahn for the use of his wagon last Friday evening, and Ervin Stuntz for pulling the wagon on our hayride at his Pine Forest. Maple Grove Daily Vacation Bible School of the Maple Grove Church, will be held from June 14 to 18, with the program Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Guhse and family attended the program Sunday at Purdue University, where their son, Richard, received his Masters Degree. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wallace spent. Tuewiay evening at the Guhse home. Francis Myers spent a week’s vacation iec‘'nt|y with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Myers. v Mr. and Mrs. Charles Good of Milford, were Sunday afternoon guests in the John Miller home. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gregory had Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Geyer. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Awald of Kansas City. Mo., and Mrs. Hvdie of Bremen, were Wednesday afternoon guests at the Geyer home.
