Walkerton Stated For TB X-Ray Machine Walkerton ntm been selected for * visit by the Tuberculosis X-ltav machine to be in town on July 15J It has been several years since this has been available and it is hoped that everyone will plan on using this facility that is made possible by the contributions given through the Christmas Seal campaign. Women’s Club To install New Officers An Art Exhibit, The Life of Grandma Moses, and installation of new officers will be three interesting features of the luncheon meeting which will be the last meeting of the 1964-65 club year. This will be held in the dining room of May's Restaurant, formerly Mary Kay's, at 12:30 pin. Friday, June 18. Devotions will be given by Mrs. Dan Roser. Each member, please bring three art exhibits which you especially love. A print, water color, oil painting, photograph or anything in the picture family deax- to you. These will be arranged in tho dining room by the executive committee. During the program, earth member will tell in a few wonts about her exhibits. Mrs. E. P. McDaniel will be giving in her own words, the Life of Grandma Moses. Roll call will be answered by naming our favorite well-known painting. Mrs. Alto Holmes, vice president, will be in charge of installing our new Ist vice president, Mrs. Richard Hanley, and our next secretary, Mrs. Kenneth Reed. I Hostesses will be Mrs. Kenneth Reed, Mrs. Kent Dalmer and Mrs. Dan Roser. Reservations are necessary for the luncheon and should be phoned by Tuesday, Juno 15, to one of the hostesses. Turnout Good In Walkerton Recreation First week’s attendance: Boys 7-12 — 137 Girls, 7 and up — 127 Boys, 13 and up — 80 Total 344 This week's activities consisted of the following: kickball, dodgeball, baseball, tumbinj, ^gymnastics and baseball fundamentals. Leagues will begin as soon as Bible Schools finish. Everyone is welcome to come. Plan Walkerton Golf Outing SunHav, June 27 Another Walkerton Golf outing will be held Sunday. June ?7. a» a partners event will be enjoyed at the Eberhart golf course in Mishawaka. This will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is open to all who have a Walkerton address or work In Walkerton. The price of admittance will be $3.00 per person to cover green fees and prizes. Get yourself a partner and contact T^e "Welch before June 20 for reservations.
