Two scholarships of $50.00 each were presented to two top students of the class in memory of Walter P. Slattery, by h s wife, fiom North Liberty. They are Greg Hartsell an! Stephen Zlatos, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Hartsell and Mr. and Mrs. William Zlatos. The money is placed in the st. Patrick Credit Union for the next four years and then may be drawn by the recipients. The Serra Club Vocation Essay winner was Gleg Hartsell and the spelling plaque went to Stephen Zlatos. The Sons < | the American Revolution presented their Good Citizenship certificate and medal to Barbara Kotal and William Ziegler.
