Small Group Enjoys Chamber Ladies Nkht A disappointingly small crowd for a Ladies’ Night enjoyed a very nice evening Thursday at the Walkerton Town Club as the May Ladies’ Night meeting was held with 58 present. The dinner was prepared by Heil’s Restaurant for the group. Following the dinner, the “Blue Notes” of the Culver MilitaryAcademy, a group of twelve boys, entertained with some very fine singing. This group chooses their own members and all their practice is on their own time. The boys, when performing, use no accompaniment or director. Their selection of songs and performance of the same, was enjoyed by the group. The program was then turned over to George Parks, of PlasSteel Products, Inc., who showed two films, one on gla«s and the other on fiber-glass and the World’s Fair. These were both informative and very interesting with many beautiful scenes of the fair in New York being shown. The next meeting of the Chamber wii’ be n at Hell’s Dining Room on Thursday, June 10. All members are urged to attend and any non-members who are interested, can still pay' the r 1965 dues by simply mailing a check for $5.00 to the Chamber of Commerce. NOTICE The office of Dr. Hershberger will be closed from May 19 thru May 26. m2op
