Barbara Lidy of Ekhart and Judy Johnson of Kokomo, spent the Easter week end with Miss Lidy's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lidy. Mr. and Mrs. Noble Sheatsley Jr., and family, of Annandale. Virginia, were guests over the Easter holiday of his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Noble Sheatsley Sr. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Ryan of Rockford. 111., were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ryan and family. Julie Ryan had just spent a week and a half with her grandparents. Dr. and Mrs. John W. Clark were Saturday guests of his Bister and family. Mr. and Mrs. William Heim. Thqy also visited his mother, Mrs. John C^ark Sr., in the Nursing Home. Dr. and Mrs. John W. Griffith and Mr. and Mrs. James Guttman and family of Sheridan. Ind . and Dr. and Mrs. John Guttman and family of Wakarusa, were dinner guests Easter Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. John Guttman. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gardner and family on Easter were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Land, Kim and Chris, and Mrs. FraMc 'Land, of Union Mil’s, Mr. and Mm. D.C., where they attended the Cherry Blossom feetlvitiee, at which a granddaughter represented the State of Arizona as a Princess. Six ITT IS FIVE Mrs. Dens low IX>ll entertained at a birthday party Monday afternoon for her son, Scott, who was five years old. Games and contests were enjoyed during the afternoon, after which Scott opened his many gifts. Refreshments of Ice cream and cake were .served. Each guest recelved a favor. Those pnwnt were Patti Hller. Susan Mellin, Deana Buss Rhonda Rains, Gaye and Brent Putman and Cart and Paul Hershberger. Max Owen was unable to attend but sent a gift.

Va. spent from Sunday to Wednesday with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Vanda\l and family. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Kindig of Ekhart were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Nellie Purdy. Mrs. Purdy has bean confined to her home the past two wveks with both ankle® sprained from a fa’,l severa' weeks ago in South Bend. Mr and Mrs. E. J. Heaton and chi’/lren. Kathie and James, of Tipton. and Mr. and Mi's. Jack B. Spencer and children. Barbara and John Charles of Culver, were guests over the Easter week end of Mrs. John F. Spencer. Mrs. A. F. Dailey. Mrs. C. J. Cites, and Mrs. K. Hartman Traoy. of LaPorte, were in Oblong. Illinois, over the Easter week end visiting Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Smith. Mrs. Cites remained for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Brown and family of Kokomo, spent the iweek end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Seitz. Other Easter Sunday dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Seitz and Mrs. Harley McCarty of Gary. Mr. and Mrs. Lffwis Kemp had for their Easter dinner guests. Mr. and Mrs Leslie Milligan. Janice and Mike of Parkridge. IM., and Mx. and Mrs. Levi Kemp and family. Bullinger of South Bend, were dinner gueeta on Eh«ter of Mr and Mrs. Fred Bhillinger and family. Mrs. McGrath and daughter spent loot week here with the Bullingers, and returned home Sunday evening. Saturrtav evening. Mrs. Fannie Ree<lrr. a sister, and Mrs. Rosa Beaty, a sister-in-law. were also dinner guests in the Beaty home. On Sunday they were guests of a sister, Mrs Frank Hahn, and husband. for Easter dinner. During the afternoon, all of the Hahn children dropped by to greet their aunt and uncle. PLAYS IN BALL STATE BAND Carolyn Mann, daughter of Mr. and Mr< Adam Mann, 1135 Harrison Street. Walkerton, was recently accepted into the 92 piece varsity concert band at Ball State University. Muncie. She plays the alto clarinet. Miss Mann Is a freshman at Ball State, majoring in English, with a minor in music. She is a 1964 graduate of Walkerton High School.

New Mexico, arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs Leon, ard Beaty on Friday evening, to spend a few days with his brother and other relatives near Walkerton.
